How rights holders can report alleged infringement involving SpotiMP3, and how affected users can ask us to review a restriction.
SpotiMP3 must be used only for copies you own the rights to make, have permission to make, or are otherwise permitted by law to make. A public link, streaming subscription or Prime payment is not a licence to copy a recording. Our Terms prohibit infringement and bypassing access controls.
Spotify links identify metadata. Audio is obtained from separate sources, and our processing infrastructure may retrieve, store and deliver matching files. We can review material and access within our control, but cannot remove a recording from an independently operated source website.
Copyright owners and authorised representatives can email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright report”. Use the contact link below. Include enough detail to identify both your work and the activity involving SpotiMP3.
Consider any applicable licence or copyright exception before sending a report. Do not include passwords, payment card details or unrelated personal data. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a statutory notice or counter-notice can have legal consequences.
We review reports promptly and may ask for missing information. Where a report identifies infringing material or activity within our control, we will take appropriate action, which can include removing or disabling access to the material, restricting a request or suspending an account. We act expeditiously on notices that meet applicable legal requirements.
Where we can identify and contact an affected user, we will take reasonable steps to notify them of a restriction and explain how to request review, unless prohibited by law. We may share relevant notice details with that user or a processing provider to investigate and address the report. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle correspondence.
If you believe a restriction was a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright review”, identify the restriction and explain your rights or the reason for the mistake. A general review request is not necessarily a statutory DMCA counter-notice.
Where the US DMCA counter-notification procedure applies, a counter-notice must include:
A statutory counter-notice is forwarded to the original complainant, including the identifying details it requires. Where the DMCA procedure applies, restoration follows the statutory 10–14 business-day process after receipt of a compliant counter-notice, unless we first receive notice of a filed court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. This does not guarantee that an external source will remain available.
Our policy is to terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We consider the available evidence, prior reports and their outcomes, and valid explanations or counter-notices. We may also restrict access for a serious individual violation. Do not create another account to evade a restriction.
This page provides a copyright reporting and review channel. It does not claim that SpotiMP3 has a registered US DMCA designated agent or qualifies for a statutory safe harbour. The applicable procedure depends on the law and the activity concerned; publishing this policy alone does not establish eligibility.
For account, billing or privacy questions, use the same support email with an appropriate subject instead of submitting a copyright allegation.
